Filmed in silence, apart from the breathing of the two warriors, it's like a living portrait of Sasha's amazing physique, standing atop her fallen foe. And although the aforementioned laughing was something I did not enjoy, its later absence really highlights Kornelia's discomfort as the match - and her utter humiliation - proceeds.Īfter Sasha's comprehensive victory, we're treated to a 40 second victory pose and honestly, that alone might be worth the price of the video. There's a genuine thrill to Sasha's almost effortless domination of Kornelia, and the dominant wrestler seems to radiate hotness as she controls her outmatched opponent. But the actual match itself, judged entirely on its own merits, is superb. The points I've outlined above are purely personal ones, based on my own obviously very specific tastes. Now all that being said, none of my comments should be taken as any reflection of the quality of this video. And let's be honest, that might be a little awkward on occasion. The problem is, it's like having some other dude in the room with you when you're watching the video. Any male presence, whether it's a referee, someone sitting on the sidelines and especially any male talking. Again, I concede this is very much a 'me' issue, but I've mentioned before that when I watch an F/F video, the only people are want to see, hear or in any way be aware of, are the the two F's in the match. Unfortunately though, any potential sexiness here is instantly removed by the male voice counting those pins. And a lot of the pins Sasha applies to Kornelia in this match are absolutely stunning. A wrestler could be applying the sexiest hold I've ever seen, but if her opponent is smiling whilst she's trapped in it, then my excitement is non-existent.Īnd on that same note, lets talk about pins. But purely in terms of my own personal taste, it's not something that I enjoy at all. In a real match with no 'performance' to speak of, there's no reason why the two combatants would not be enjoying themselves. As the match starts, there's a fair amount of laughing and giggling. We open with a little pre-match interview, which sort of sets the tone for a lot of the match. And that's what we have in this match between Sasha and Kornelia. When competitive matches can work is when they are almost entirely one-sided. And with both fighters actively trying to avoid being trapped in holds and the match being fought fairly (I know, shocking right?), any hold that is applied is going to be released as soon as a fighter taps. In an evenly matched contest, more often than not, you won't see a lot of action. I'm not really a fan of competitive wrestling. The popular, young newcomer, Kornelia's first real challenge at Fight Pulse is Sasha.
